Stoicism isn't the primary topic but it's discussed often. If you really want to read a modern interpretation, I would very highly recommend Nassim Taleb's Incerto series. Epictetus's discourses and Enchiridion (the latter is a particularly brilliant ~30 page summary of his teachings written by a student) The primary stoic canon is roughly as follows (no order): The actual stoics wrote so clearly and accessibly that I don't see any reason to seek a microwaveable frozen dinner version written by a 'marketing guru'. For me it's satisfying enough to know that one of the GOAT's made the decision to quit on his own terms, and move on with his life at absolute peak, in a game where you have so many cases of players that don't get to make this decision themselves - but instead are forced to quit because the.
